About Me
Thanks for visiting Starving Artist, my little nook in the cooking blogoshpere. My name is Carissa, and I live in one of the best cities in the world (I’m convinced), Boston, Massachusetts. I’m a designer at one of the top ad agencies in the country, specializing in interactive design. Web design is one of my passions, along with cooking and creating new recipes. I decided to combine my two loves – web design and cooking – with Starving Artist (no, I’m not “starving”… it’s a play on the term… come on now). I live in downtown Boston (Back Bay to be exact) in a studio apartment. It may be a tight squeeze, but that doesn’t stop me from creating “apartment-gourmet†as I like to call it. I enjoy creating seasonal meals, and challenging myself to develop healthy versions of tried-and-true dishes. I hope you enjoy my recipes, photos, and random musings. : )
